Marktlink UK has acted as lead adviser to Willshees Group on its acquisition of Jones Skips, marking another strategic step in the Group’s continued expansion in the Midlands waste management sector.
Based in the Midlands, Willshees Group provides domestic and commercial waste management services, helping organisations across the region improve efficiency, meet compliance requirements and maximise recycling opportunities.
Jones Skips, founded in 1998, is one of the largest independent waste management providers in the West Midlands and has built a strong reputation in the local market.
By bringing the two businesses together, Willshees Group combines its established waste management expertise with Jones Skips’ local knowledge and reputation. The acquisition strengthens the Group’s ability to deliver reliable, compliant and sustainable waste solutions to a broader customer base. It also reflects Willshees Group’s continued commitment to investing in people, infrastructure and environmental performance.

The acquisition follows Willshees Group’s purchase of Stanton Recycling Ltd in 2024, a transaction also advised on by Marktlink. This latest deal represents another step towards the Group’s long-term growth ambitions and further reinforces its position in the regional waste management market.
