H&K Lift Quality was in the prime of its life and even moved to larger premises in 2021. After an intensive process the company was acquired by SkyLift.

In 2012, H&K Lift Quality was founded in Maarsbergen and was quickly on the rise. The company became a household name by supplying and maintaining lifts. After the owners had decided to step down, they asked Marktlink to take control of the sale process.

Meetings with several parties

“After the initial meetings, we quickly proceeded to an active sale process. That started with a thorough company and market analysis”, Marktlink advisor Edurne Martens says. “The market is quite fragmented and you’ll see larger companies acquiring smaller ones. We met with several of these market players but investors see potential in this market as well. Ultimately, our clients felt good about the way they clicked with SkyLift. Besides, SkyLift’s culture and services matched those of H&K the most.”

Integration

After the employees, customers and suppliers were informed, the integration between both companies started. From now on, H&K and SkyLift will present a united front and practically nothing will change for customers. They will still receive the same high-quality service they are used to, and in due time another name will appear on and around the lifts.
