NexusOne helps organisations turn data into usable business value. The company designs digital platforms and customer journeys and integrates customer data into the systems businesses work in every day, including CRM, Power BI and marketing automation tools. From strategy and concept to implementation and optimisation, NexusOne combines strategic and technical consultancy expertise with a team of around 20 specialists.
For the owners, this transaction was about growth. As a focused specialist, NexusOne had built strong capabilities in data and digital consultancy. At the same time, becoming part of a larger group creates more room to scale, serve larger clients and broaden the offering.

This process started when NexusOne became a standalone business again following its demerger. That also shaped the early phase of the transaction. A key part of the process was presenting the business fairly on a standalone basis, supported by pro forma financials, so buyers could assess NexusOne on its own merits.
Together with the owners, Marktlink built the equity story: a clear articulation of NexusOne’s specialist capabilities, its client relationships and its potential as part of a larger group. That groundwork meant the business went to market with a story buyers could trust.

The team identified and engaged the buyers for whom NexusOne would hold the greatest strategic value, managed multiple due diligence workstreams — staying agile as circumstances changed — and led the commercial negotiations through to closing.
