About Joep

Joep completed his bachelor’s degree in Finance, Tax and Advice from the Hanzehogeschool in Groningen. While studying for his bachelor’s degree, Joep had his first experience with M&A while working part-time at an M&A advisory firm.  After completing his bachelor’s degree, he obtained his master’s degree in finance from the University of Groningen. During his studies, he gained experience within the M&A advisory firm, with venture capital and corporate finance.

During my studies, I developed a great interest in M&A. Within this field, several aspects come together and the work is very diverse. Besides strong financial and analytical skills, communication skills are also very important. Working with different entrepreneurs within different sectors offers me the challenge I am looking for. Advising SMEs, which are the backbone of the Dutch economy, and guiding them through the entire process appeals to me.
