Pieter obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Economics (Finance & Control) from the Avans University of Applied Sciences in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. During his Bachelor he did internships at various SME companies. After obtaining his bachelor’s he specialised further in the Corporate Finance field by continuing his studies at Tilburg University. Here he obtained his Master in Finance for which he researched the impact of green business performance on the business value of companies.

“Like many other Marktlinkers, I come from a real entrepreneurial family, which is why the entrepreneurial mindset has gotten to me. During my internships I was able to experience what an acquisition process within a company brings about. This triggered me to further specialise in subjects such as Corporate Valuation and Applied Corporate Finance during my studies. Especially the combination between conducting business analyses on the one hand and working together with passionate SME entrepreneurs on the other hand is what appeals to me in the M&A field. Because of this The choice for Marktlink was therefore quickly made”.
