About Merel

Merel first studied at the Hotel School at Saxion before doing her master’s in Business Administration at the University of Twente. During her studies, she had some exposure to the world of mergers and acquisitions. After completing her studies, she joined Marklink as a Consultant in 2018.

“In addition to my studies, I’ve been fortunate enough to work for various small and medium-sized enterprises. The atmosphere within SMEs and the dedication that entrepreneurs show have always intrigued me.  The entrepreneurs grappled in different ways with how to ensure their businesses survived. The nice thing about Marktlink is that I can now help entrepreneurs in SMEs with these same issues. Of course, I don’t do this on my own: I work together with my colleagues day in, day out to get the best results for the entrepreneur and to ensure the company keeps on going.”
