About Jeroen

Jeroen studied Business Administration at the Agrarische Hogeschool and the Business University of Nyenrode. After graduation in 2003, he started his career with a Financial Management Traineeship at Cargill (an international producer and supplier of products and services in the agriculture and food sector and the financial and industrial sector). After completing his traineeship he became assistant to the Cocoa and Chocolate BU financial controller (global cacao and chocolate activities) and subsequently Finance Manager of one of the BU’s entities. After his involvement in a number of acquisitions at Cargill, Jeroen decided to join Marktlink in early 2007 and to completely specialise in company acquisitions. Since 2007 he has been involved in dozens of buy and sell transactions, initially as a consultant and later as a manager. In 2010, Jeroen graduated in Business Valuation from the Erasmus University and received his RV title.

Jeroen’s link with Marktlink

“Being raised in a family of entrepreneurs and having been involved with a temporary employment agency while at university, I have always been closely involved with entrepreneurship. And that is exactly what Marktlink does, entrepreneur-owned SME mergers and acquisitions. We always deal directly with the entrepreneur and therefore have the decision-maker at the table, this means short lines and making decisions. A company take-over is often a one-off and intensive process for an entrepreneur, in which all aspects of the company are compressed and combined. This profession provides a great opportunity to be able to support entrepreneurs through this process.”
