The IPCOM N.V., a Belgian specialist in thermal & high temperature insulation, passive fire protection and acoustic insulation has sold 100% of its shares of Akustikplus to the Hamberger Group.
Akustikplus is a highly specialised company for the production and distribution of innovative and efficient acoustic solutions made of wood. Located in Hörselberg-Hainich, Akustikplus looks back at a successful past starting from a local sewer to an innovative company for room acoustic solutions with over 50 employees. After the acquisition of the IPCOM group in 2018, anticipated synergies did not materialise, which is why IPCOM decided to engage Marktlink in the sale of Akustikplus’ shares.

We are therefore very pleased that it has become part of a group where this will be the case. The team of Akustikplus will surely be able to create synergies with the other activities of the Hamberger Group.”
The Hamberger Group, located in Bavaria, Germany is a family-owned company which roots going back to 1866. The group comprises the production segments for floor coverings, like parquet, laminate flooring & design flooring as well as toilet seats. Hamberger employs over 2,600 employees and generates revenues of 330 million per year.
